What KKB is
KKB is a small, personal project for splitting shared expenses with friends. It keeps track of who owes whom — it does not move money. Actual payments happen outside the app (GCash, bank transfers, cash), between you and your friends.
It's an early-stage app
KKB is in active development and provided as-is, free of charge. Things may occasionally break, change, or be unavailable. We keep daily backups, but don't treat KKB as your only record of important amounts — a screenshot of big balances never hurts.
The numbers are math, not judgments
Balances and settle-up suggestions are computed from what group members enter. If someone logs an expense wrong, the math will be confidently wrong too. Disagreements about who owes what are between you and your friends — the app just does the arithmetic.
Be decent
Only add or invite people who want to be there. Don't upload images that are illegal or harmful, don't try to break into other people's groups, and don't abuse the service (there are rate limits, and accounts that abuse the app can be removed).
Your content
What you enter stays yours. You give KKB permission to store and show it to your groups — that's all we do with it. See the Privacy page for details.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the app evolves; the latest version always lives at this page. Using KKB after a change means you're okay with the updated terms.
